CAMS Bulletin Issued: Club Rally Cars
The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport has undertaken a review of the Club Rally Car regulations following submissions from the rally community.
In simple terms, this will see Club Rally Car regulations revert back to permit the modifications that were eligible prior to 2017.
It was identified that a change made to the Club Rally Regulations for 2017 – for Body Shell, Bodywork and Suspension modifications – brought into question the eligibility of modifications made to both existing and soon to be constructed Club Rally Cars.
The CAMS Bulletin B17/011 now applies the eligibility of Body Shell, Bodywork and Suspension modifications in line with those permitted for Production Rally Cars (PRC) and Classic Rally Cars with immediate effect.
