SARP Meeting 13/10/14

Few points from the SARP meeting and thankyou to all who attended.

1) Ivar Stanelis presented plans for the 2015 Rally of SA. A number of event structure, concepts and improvements were tabled and discussed.

2) Stuart Benson presented an update on the Port Adelaide Carrera; the new tarmac rally sprint event  to be held at Dock 2, Port Adelaide.  With the current interest, the event is building up to be  a highlight on the SA motorsport calendar. The Panel are looking forward to further and closer engagement with Benson Motorsports.

3) The recent forum and the identified outcomes were discussed at great length. We are currently looking at plans to implement as many of these outcomes as possible.  Scrutineering and reducing the potential confusion from multiple levels of regulation within the sport are at the top of our goals.  Though it must be stressed that all NCR’s, Standing Regulations, The SA Conditions of Rallying and Series Regulations be revisited and absorbed by all that compete.
