The South Australian Rally Panel (SARP) has been established by The South Australian State Council of Motorsport Australia (State Council) and conducts its affairs under the authority of the State Council.
The SA State Council has charged the SA Rally Panel with the responsibility of overseeing and administering the sport of rallying and its various derivatives, in the state of South Australia. The SA Rally Panel Chairman is appointed by State Council.
The function of the SARP is to provide direction and assistance to the Australian Rally Commission, South Australian State Council and the various offices of MA in the administration and regulation of Special Stage Rallying, Rallysprints, Touring Events and Autocross.
In practice, this places the Panel in a dual role. It has an administrative function and, on matters of policy, a directive and an advisory role.
The SA Rally Panel provides support, advice and assistance to Motorsport Australia affiliated car Clubs.
