RAA Southern Rally 2017 news

Having trouble deciding whether to enter the RAA Southern Rally in May? Well if you have any plans to, you’d better make it this year!

Apart from the rare opportunities to run on stages like Balquhidder and the spectacular Second Valley Forest, THIS WILL BE THE LAST YEAR in this area.

As disappointed as the RAA Southern Rally organisers are about the decision, we sympathise with ForestrySA management in their decision.
ForestrySA have advised us of the reduction in staff, facilities and budget to maintain and responsibly manage the forest reserves if motorsport events are in the mix.
They have acknowledged the advancement of this year’s event and will be supporting us to the same level as they have in the past.

Rest assured the Southern Districts Car Club has every intention of continuing to support the SA Rally Championship into 2018 and beyond.
